Did You Know…. You Can: |
- Tax your car, motorcycle, HGV or tractor or SORN your vehicle
- DVLA forms are available: for vehicles and driving licences
- Pay most of your utility bills; electricity, gas, telephone, (there is a charge for water), council tax by arrangement
- Collect your pension or benefits payments
- Withdraw money from most current accounts (not business)
- Pay cheques into current accounts: Barclays, Lloyds, TSB, NatWest, RBS, Co-op, Smile, Cahoot, HSBC, First Direct, M&S Bank
- Pay cash into current accounts: Lloyds and NatWest via your normal deposit slip, or you can arrange for your bank to pay in cash at the Post Office and they add the facility to your bank card
- Santander transactions: business or personal cheque deposit and cash is available with prior arrangement with them
- Foreign currency: Euros available on demand, other currencies by order (before 4pm for next day)
- Collection mail items: for online shopping or for missed deliveries
- Home shopping returns via Royal Mail can be made
- Purchase postal orders or One4all Gift Cards
- Buy your Environment Agency Fishing Rod Licence
- Arrange to have your mail redirected if you are moving house or Keepsafe™ if you are going on holiday
- And of course, you can buy stamps, post letters and parcels, whether first or second class, by air, or recorded/registered delivery. You can also get advice on the best way to send your mail and get free proof of postage certificates.
